Branding

We ask a lot of questions (and actually listen to the answers).

We are brimming with curiosity and will ask 1,001 questions until we understand everything about your organization. We want to know about your audience, your mission, your goals, your competitors and your favorite flavor of ice cream. We only work with clients we like and respect, so we have a genuine interest and investment in what you do. In our one-stop branding shop, we use our newfound knowledge to create a cohesive, long-term brand strategy.

We zero in on what makes you stand out.

You know your organization is unique and remarkable, but does the rest of the world? We dig deep to find that special something that you do better than anyone else. We boil your brand down to its most potent elements to make your organization stand out in the crowd.

We find the emotional connection that clicks with your audience.

Your brand is more than just a list of products or services you offer; it is the feeling it inspires in your audience. We bring out your organization’s personality in a way that resonates with real people and creates an engaged, passionate and loyal community.

Head to Head Radio Logo

We were approached by Head to Head Radio to help them develop a brand for the launch of their new statewide sports talk radio show. Their vision involved bringing to Mississippi a show with a statewide focus and a national level of polish. We developed the HH lockup that is a strong, fast, athletic symbol that also references football and basketball, the main topic areas of the show.

Davaine Lighting Website

In the discovery process, we thought it was remarkable how much lighting could change a room for a special event. We wanted to make the site very 'glowy' in order to show off the photos displaying Stephen's lighting artistry. The 'Ideas' page was a cool addition so that brides & event planners could learn how elements of lighting could be effective in transforming their events.

High Noon Cafe ‘No Bull’ Campaign

high_noon_no_bull
High Noon Cafe, the all-organic vegetarian cafe inside of Rainbow Natural Foods, was in financial trouble in December 2009. We pitched this ad campaign featuring "No Bull," a play on being all-vegetarian, and having only pure ingredients with nothing to hide. Our goal was to make High Noon from an unknown alternative into a "regular" lunch option for diners. The campaign's been a huge success at rebranding the Cafe.

Faith And Reason Website

faithandreason
Faith And Reason is a Jackson, Mississippi-based organization quickly rising in the national scene of progressive Christianity. For their new website, we created a look that captures a historical, authentic feel that represents the work of Faith And Reason's scholar board. The site has created an increase in sales and exposure to the organization's educational products for church small groups while positioning the brand for its coming national prominence.

Mississippi Humanities Council Website

mshumanities
Creative Distillery worked with the Mississippi Humanities Council to create a brand-new site with a CMS that staff could update themselves. Our mission statement with the new site was to shift the focus away from the administrative aspects of the Humanities Council to the great programming the Council offers. In addition, the site's publishing workflow is customized to be friendly to the MHC staff.

How to Market and Promote Music Internationally ebook series

For this ebook series helping musicians to set up international tours, we set out to create a feeling of travel that is respectful to the subjects of the books. We worked with Beck Photographic (and airport security!) to do a photoshoot concept that would carry across all the books.
