Cups Espresso Cafe Labels
Cups decided to redesign all its labels for the whole bean coffee sold in stores. We developed a color-coded system for Medium roast, Dark roast, Flavored, and Decaf coffees. In addition, the system has flexibility for special Christmas variants and 'green' variants for Cups' fair trade and Rainforest Alliance coffees.
The labels have been a big success, with several stores' managers telling us that customers are noticing the bagged coffee like never before.
Cups Espresso Cafe Website
The website redesign for Cups Espresso Cafe, a coffee shop chain in central Mississippi, was a huge project. Cups has the distinction of being the place where we've spent many client meetings and work sessions. We set out to help Cups articulate its website in relationship to 1) its core brand and 2) the differences that make each location unique.
Many brands with multiple locations try to homogenize the experience between them in order to present a unified brand. However, Cups' strength is the individuality of each store: a location in a suburb will be very different from a location in the funky arts district. Each location is given its own blog to maintain its identity, but it is presented within the structure of the larger website featuring Cups' locally-roasted coffee, menu items and thoughts from the roaster.
In addition, the site is performing incredibly well on Google, with strong keyword entrances and super-low bounce rates.
This site was completed with web programming by Vince Falconi, and photography by Tom Beck of Beck Photographic.
